An environment awareness meeting in progress

As a part of our regular annual feature, we organise National Environmental Awareness Camp on pollution control in various villages of our intervening districts. During such camps, competitive events are organised and prizes are distributed to the children.

Seminars, conferences and workshops are regularly organised to promote pollution-free environment as well as to reduce the green-house effects due to global warming.

Celebration of 'World Environment Day' during which emphasis is laid on the following seven life saving messages

• Collection and storage of potable water
• Maintenance of personal hygiene
• Promoting family hygiene
• Proper disposal of human fasces
• Disposal of solid and liquid waste
• Proper disposal of animal waste to maintain village hygiene
• To effect behavioural change towards environment
