Mission

"To effect improvement in the overall quality of life: health, economic, social and cultural together with empowerment of backward communities by reaching up to poorest of the poor, with particular focus on women and socio-economically deprived sections of society."

To achieve the mission, CSW aspires extends a much needed helping hand to the needy, poor, women, children, disabled, orphans, uncared senior citizens, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in rural areas and urban slums.

Vision

The following are the visionary aspects:

• To implement innovative livelihood programmes with various target communities, particularly the most backward and deprived ones
• To empowerment target communities by capacity building and developing awareness on issues of social importance
• To network with leading national and overseas organisations operating in various fields of development
• To improve health and socio-economic status of people and strive for their overall improvement in quality of life
• To impart vocational training to generate additional sources of livelihood, particularly for women, self-help groups and adolescents
• To create awareness about all aspects of healthy living, sanitation and hygiene, environment etc.
• To undertake various programmes on Reproductive and Child Healthcare (RCH)
